This item is a nice believed to be hand carved hardwood Masai Tribe figure. It is an interesting piece, which is still in a quite good order.
The figure stands 18" (45cm) high and is a good luck piece from the 1920’s. It is called The Ascent of Man and is a fabulous item to have on show. It is not known where this early item originated from but it is thought to be an object from The Masai Tribe of Africa.
As well as maritime artefacts, we have a large collection of African items which will be listed on this website in time.
