AN OLD ORIGINAL RATLING HARDWOOD DEADEYE BLOCK

This item is a ‘Ratling Hardwood Deadeye’ block. It is nicely hewn out and is still in good order. It is an extremely old piece but very difficult to date.

A VERY OLD FLAG HOISTING BUNTING BLOCK

This item is an old ‘bunting block’ used for hoisting up flags on the crow jack. It is late 18th – 19th century and was recovered from a Bristol vessel. This is an odd unusual piece, which is not often found available for sale. This is a type of item generally used in conjunction with others to hoist flags aloft the ship.

AN EARLY SHIPS AS USED RIGGED WOOD CRINGLE LIFTING HOOK

This item is a nice old ‘Rigged Wood Cringle’. It shows fantastic wirework along with the original lifting hook. Old piece but difficult to date.

This item is a superb ‘Roller Rigging Hardwood Yard’ piece. It is made of a very hardwood construction and shows some interesting weave points. This item is dated circa 18th century.

This particular item is an early ‘Ensign Reaving Block’. It is a well used piece and is still in a good condition. It is old piece and is difficult to date.
