A RARE TO FIND SET OF FRENCH LINE SOUVENIR PLAYING CARDS

This item is a set of French Line shipping company souvenir playing cards which are in a great condition. They are a very rare find and are an early example from the 1930’s.

The playing cards are from the Art Deco period of that time. The Art Deco design on the front of the playing card pack is typical of the era. Not many examples like this are found these days making it a rare item. Click on the view link or on the picture for a closer look at this item.

A CHINA CABIN DISH FROM THE FRENCH LINE VESSEL SS FRANCE

PRICE REDUCED - This item is an original object from The French Line vessel SS France. It is a decorative china dish in a red colour and would have been found in many of the ships cabins. It is in an excellent condition and the size is 4¼” (11cm) wide.

A COLLECTION OF ITEMS FROM ‘ANTILLES’ OF THE FRENCH LINE

This is a nice collection of some items from The French Line vessel “ANTILLES”. They are as follows:

(A) A map showing the ships voyage details. A very interesting item.

(B) A ships passenger list. Superb front-page showing ships signal flags.

(C) A ships on board dinner menu. A very nice item with interesting details.

(D) A ships voyage details leaflet.

This whole set has some great details within it and is in a very good condition all round.

A COLLECTION OF ITEMS FROM THE VESSEL ‘NORMANDIE’

This is a nice collection of items from the vessel NOMANDIE. They are as follows:

a) Superb front page of actual ships launching (Ideal for framing).

b) Early photo of liner at sea.

c) Actual wine bottle label from on board, still in good condition.

d) Original telegram to vessel dated 20th July 1939.

The complete set of items are in very good condition and are all originals.

A COLLECTION OF ITEMS FROM SS FRANCE OF THE FRENCH LINE

This is a collection of items dating from 1969 and are from The French Line Ship THE SS FRANCE. They are as follows:

1) An Indigo Blue ‘Pin Dish’ which shows a nice view of the liner in Gold. Also reads across the item ‘FRANCE’. It is approx 4" (10cm) wide.

2) A special booklet, which reads “HAVRE - SOUTHAMTON - NEW YORK 1969 __FRENCH LINE”. Gives a complete ships voyage details and shows 6 interior views and other similar information etc.

3) Nice open up ships deck plans. These include The VERANAH DECK - The PROMENADE DECK - The UPPER DECK - The MAIN DECK etc. It is a double sided brochure and is approx. 2'9" x 2'0" (84cm x 61cm).

All of the items are in a great condition and are originals from the shipping line.

This is a collection of original items from The French Line shipping company, which are all connected with the vessel ANTILLES. They are as follows:

• A ship’s Dinner Menu for a ‘Gala Night’ dated 5th March 1964.
• A piece of ship’s writing paper headed ‘French Line’.
• Ship’s voyage details booklet.
• A sailing detail booklet with a view of the liner on the front.
• Ship’s ‘Embarkation’ booklet.

All of the items are in a superb condition and are set at a very reasonable price.
