This is an original item from The Bergen Line Shipping Company and it is a wooden ships plaque. It shows on it the company houseflag and the company name, which has been hand painted on. It is in a superb condition and the size is approx. 10” (25cm) square.

A SHIPS PLAQUE FROM ON BOARD THE VESSEL THE UGANDA |

This item is a rare ship’s plaque from the old British India Steam Navigation Company vessel ‘The Uganda’. It was taken from on board the vessel many years ago. Originally it was a gift to the old liner from The Rochester Grammer School For Girls. This is a scarce item to find and a collector’s piece from this famous old vessel. It is in a good condition all round and the size is 6" x 7" (15cm x 18cm).

A SUPERB CONDITION ORIGINAL WARDROOM PLAQUE |

This item is an original wardroom plaque, which is in a great condition. It is 7½" (19cm) wide, and shows an unusual lion logo upon the front. It also reads on FREGATE DE GRASSE at the top. The item appears to be superbly carved and is a good condition. An old item, which is difficult to date.

A HAMPSHIRE FIREBRIGADE FIREBOAT PLAQUE |

This is an interesting item. It is a ‘Fireboat Plaque’ from the Hampshire Fire Brigade Service, England. It is made of solid wood and is displayed in full colour with the Naval Crown at the top. The size of the plaque is approx. 7½" x 8½" (19cm x 21.5cm).

A SHIPS PLAQUE FROM A CORVETTE CLASS NAVAL VESSEL |

This is a superb quality ships plaque, which is in full colour, and is from THE HEBE, a Corvette Class Naval Ship built in 1936. It is taken from the officer’s saloon and the size of the plaque is approx. 11" x 11" (28cm x 28cm) at its widest points. The piece is in a very good condition and would make a nice display item.

A SET OF NAVAL SUPPLY SHIPS PLAQUES |

This is an interesting set of Naval Supply Ship’s Plaques, which were all made for crewmembers. The set contains items as follows:
1) ‘Black Rover’ - The Sea Horse.
2) ‘Grey Rover’ – The Flying Goose.
3) ‘Gold Rover’ – The Golden Eagle. They are all in a superb condition and they are dated circa 1950’s. The size of each piece is approx. 4" x 6" (10cm x 15cm).
