A HAND COLOURED PICTURE OF PORT LINE VESSEL ‘PORT WELLINGTON

A HAND COLOURED PICTURE OF PORT LINE VESSEL ‘PORT WELLINGTON

This item is a hand coloured picture view of the old vessel ‘PORT WELLINGTON’ at anchor. This ship was from the Port Line Shipping Company (Commonwealth & Dominion) and was built in 1924 and was 7.859 G/T. It is a fine old example of a hard working refrigerated ship, which carried much meat and dairy produce over the seaways, as well as a small quantity of passengers. It is already on a good stiff card surround section and is ideal for framing. The size of this picture is 13” x 9” (33cm x 23cm) and it is in a good condition.
