DESCRIPTION -- Fantastic book by the author Mike Rossiter this is the story of the hunt for the Argentine ship the General Belgrano and eventual sinking and covers over 300 pages and was produced in 2007 at a cost of £18.

HISTORY -- On 2 May 1982, the Argentine cruiser the General Belgrano was sunk by a British submarine during the war over the Falkland or Malvinas Islands. More than 300 Argentinians died. It was the single biggest loss of life of the war, and its sinking remains one of the most controversial actions of the conflict.

DESCRIPTION -- From the famous Scottish paddle steamer The Waverley this is a fabulous book/booklet entitled ‘Dinosaur Down Below’ by Ian W. Muir.  It was produced in 1980 and covers all aspects of this great vessel and is in an excellent condition.

HISTORY -- The Waverley is the last seagoing passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world. Built in 1946, she sailed from Craigendoran on the Firth of Clyde to Arrochar on Loch Long until 1973. Bought by the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society (PSPS), she has been restored to her 1947 appearance and now operates passenger excursions around the British coast.
