DESCRIPTION -- This item is a First World War soldier's craft work souvenir from Egypt. The item shows on the front the Union/Egyptian flags and is still in a superb condition. During this period of time it was quite usual for many of the soldiers to make items such as this as mementos for themselves or family

DESCRIPTION -- Cauldron shaped revolving top 'ashtray' item which is an unusual 'trench art' piece from the 1st World War and is a made of a brass construction. It reads on the side: "Hezzanith 1914 - Air Compass 1918" and an extremely collectable piece with the size being approx 3 inches (8cm).
