CANADIAN SHIPS TRADING TOKEN DATED CIRCA 1810

DESCRIPTION -- Scarce to find ships trading token which is from a Canadian sailing vessel and is dated circa early 1800's. It was given to Trappers and Merchant Dealers for changing into cash at company offices during those times. Not much more is known about this souvenir piece but it is an early object (click on the picture it is possible to see the reverse of the coin).

DESCRIPTION -- This item is a ships travel token from The Hegartys Ferries Company. It is from an Australian vessel of old and is dated circa 1939. Not much more is known about this souvenir piece but it is an early object.

MEDALLION FROM THE INCRES LINE VESSEL THE MS VICTORIA

DESCRIPTION -- Very nice gold colour medallion from The Incres Lines Shipping Company liner 'THE MS VICTORIA' which is in a very good condition, an old piece and difficult to date with the size of this item being 1" (2.5cm) wide.

CONDITION -- Very Good

HISTORY -- The MS Victoria was completed in December 1959 and undertook her first Mediterranean cruise on December 14, which was followed by a European cruise. She then departed on January 8, 1960 sailing from Rotterdam and Le Havre crossing the Atlantic to New York where she would to be based and commence a series of cruises from New York to the West Indies. The Victoria became a much sought after cruise ship by Americans, due to her superb facilities, as well as her outstanding service and excellent cuisine.
