DESCRIPTION -- From the RMS Franconia and dated Tuesday 22nd June 1965, this is a copy of the Ocean Times the onboard daily paper published during each cruise (click on the picture for an open out view of the item).

CONDITION -- Good
HISTORY -- The RMS Ivernia was a Saxonia class ocean liner, built in 1955 by John Brown & Company in Clydebank, Scotland for Cunard Line, for their transatlantic passenger service between the UK and Canada. In 1963 she was rebuilt as a cruise ship and renamed RMS Franconia, after the famous pre-war liner RMS Franconia. She continued to sail for Cunard until being withdrawn from service and laid up in 1971.

DESCRIPTION -- Superb picture plate in full colour of the Cunard Line vessel the RMS Queen Mary which is in an excellent condition, and the size is 6" (16cm) wide.

HISTORY -- RMS Queen Mary is a retired ocean liner that sailed primarily on the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967 for the Cunard Line (known as Cunard-White Star Line when the vessel entered service). Built by John Brown & Company in Clydebank, Scotland, Queen Mary along with her sister ship, RMS Queen Elizabeth, were built as part of Cunard's planned two-ship weekly express service between Southampton, Cherbourg, and New York City.

DESCRIPTION -- Items from the Queen Mary 2 of the Cunard Line around the launch of this great vessel.

HISTORY -- The ship was officially named Queen Mary 2 by Queen Elizabeth II in 2004 after the first RMS Queen Mary of 1936. At the time of her construction, Queen Mary 2 was the longest, at 1,131.99 ft (345.03 m), and largest, with a gross tonnage of 148,528 GT, passenger ship ever built.

DESCRIPTION -- A china map pin dish from the Cunard Line vessel MS Sagafjord. The size is 4" (10cm) wide and it covers a cruise from September 26th to October 6th 1987 and it is in an as new condition.

CONDITION -- Unused
HISTORY -- The MS Sagafjord was an ocean liner built in 1965 by Société Nouvelle des Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée for Norwegian America Line as the combined ocean liner/cruise ship. Between 1983 and 1996 the Sagafjord was operated by Cunard Line. In 1996 - 1997 she was briefly operated by Transocean Tours as MS Gripsholm prior to being sold to Saga. She was lastly owned and operated by Saga Cruises on worldwide cruises targeted at the senior market out of the United Kingdom, known as the MS Saga Rose . She was retired from service in October 2009.

HISTORY -- Queen Elizabeth 2, often referred to simply as QE2, is a floating hotel and retired ocean liner built for the Cunard Line which was operated by Cunard as both a transatlantic liner and a cruise ship from 1969 to 2008. Since 18 April 2018 she has been operating as a floating hotel in Dubai.

DESCRIPTION -- Very early set of playing cards from the RMS Queen Elizabeth from the Cunard Line shipping company thought to be from the early voyages, and the box is slightly torn.

HISTORY -- The RMS Queen Elizabeth was an ocean liner operated by the Cunard Line. With her running mate Queen Mary she provided luxury liner service between Southampton, the United Kingdom, and New York City, the United States, via Cherbourg, France. She was also contracted for over twenty years to carry the Royal Mail as the second half of the two ships' weekly express service.
