DESCRIPTION -- Souvenir mug from the maiden season of the new Cunard Liner the Queen Elizabeth which is as new and in excellent condition.

CONDITION --
HISTORY -- MS Queen Elizabeth (QE) is a cruise ship of the Vista class operated by the Cunard Line. The design is modified from that of previous ships of that class, and slightly larger than Queen Victoria, at 92,000 GT, largely due to a more vertical stern. The ship is able to carry up to 2092 passengers. MS Queen Elizabeth is almost identical in design to Queen Victoria, although because of the steeper stern, her introduction into service the passenger capacity was slightly higher with up to 2,058 compared to Queen Victoria's 2,014.

HISTORY -- The RMS Queen Elizabeth was an ocean liner operated by Cunard Line. With Queen Mary she provided weekly luxury liner service between Southampton in the United Kingdom and New York City in the United States, via Cherbourg in France.

DESCRIPTION -- 5" souvenir china dish from the RMS Carinthia which is in an unused condition.

CONDITION --
HISTORY -- RMS Carinthia was first laid down in Barrow-in-Furness in 1924 with the yard number Hull 586. Originally she had the name Servia but was renamed at the time of her launching on 24 February 1925. She made her maiden voyage on 22 August 1925 from Liverpool to New York City. At her launch she was the largest of the five post First World War intermediate size liners.

HISTORY -- The RMS Queen Mary is a retired British ocean liner that sailed primarily on the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967 for the Cunard Line – known as Cunard-White Star Line when the vessel entered service. She was the flagship of the Cunard and White Star Lines, built by John Brown & Company in Clydebank, Scotland, Queen Mary, along with RMS Queen Elizabeth, were built as part of Cunard's planned two-ship weekly express service between Southampton, Cherbourg and New York.

HISTORY -- RMS Carmania was a British ocean liner designed by Leonard Peskett and built by John Brown & Company for the Cunard Line. In World War I, Carmania was converted to an armed merchant cruiser. When launched in 1905, Carmania and her running mate, Caronia, were the largest ships in the Cunard fleet.

HISTORY -- Queen Elizabeth 2, often referred to simply as QE2, is a floating hotel and retired ocean liner built for the Cunard Line which was operated by Cunard as both a transatlantic liner and a cruise ship from 1969 to 2008. Since 18 April 2018 she has been operating as a floating hotel in Dubai.

HISTORY -- The RMS Queen Elizabeth 2, often referred to simply as the 'QE2', is a retired Cunard ocean liner, now owned by Nakheel, a division of Dubai World. She was named after the earlier Cunard liner RMS Queen Elizabeth, and served as the flagship of the line from 1969 until succeeded by RMS Queen Mary 2 in 2004. Built in Clydebank, Scotland, she was considered the last of the great transatlantic ocean liners built for over four decades before the construction of the QM2.

DESCRIPTION -- This is one of those unusual items and is a copy of the Captains report of the sinking of the famous vessel the Lusitania.

CONDITION -- Excellent
HISTORY -- The Lusitania was a British passenger ship that was owned by the Cunard Line and was first launched in 1906. Built for the transatlantic passenger trade, it was luxurious and noted for its speed. During World War I the Lusitania was sunk by a German torpedo, resulting in great loss of life.

DESCRIPTION -- Original and rare to find decorative oval dish from the RMS Queen Mary produced in the traditional black chequered design. In a good condition with the size being 8½" (21cm) x 5" (13cm) and is bottom marked.

CONDITION -- Good
HISTORY -- In 1934 the fabulous brand new liner was launched by Queen Mary as RMS Queen Mary. On her way down the slipway, Queen Mary was slowed by eighteen drag chains, which checked the liner's progress into the River Clyde, a portion of which had been widened to accommodate the launch.

DESCRIPTION -- Very rare find of a souvenir tie pin from the vessel the Mauretania. It is in a very good condition and shows on it a view of the ship and unlikely to find another one like this (click on the picture to see a close up of the ship).

CONDITION -- Very Good
HISTORY -- RMS Mauretania was launched on 28 July 1938 at the Cammell Laird yard in Birkenhead, England, and was completed in May 1939. The second Mauretania was the first ship built for the newly formed Cunard White Star company following the merger in April 1934 of the Cunard and White Star Line. On the withdrawal of the first RMS Mauretania in 1934, to prevent a rival company using the name and to keep it available for the new liner, arrangements were made for the Red Funnel paddle steamer Queen to be renamed Mauretania in the interim.
