DESCRIPTION -- Postcard of the Royal Naval ship HMS Caprice which is in an excellent condition.

CONDITION -- Excellent
HISTORY -- HMS Caprice was a C-class destroyer of the Royal Navy, ordered on 16 February 1942 from Yarrow, Scotstoun. She was originally to be named HMS Swallow but this was changed to Caprice before launch to fit her revised class name. She is the only British Warship to have had this name. She was adopted by the Civil Community of Bexley and Welling, as part of the Warship Week programme.

HISTORY -- HMS Rapid was an R-class destroyer of the Royal Navy that saw service during the Second World War and was sunk as a target in 1981.

DESCRIPTION -- Postcard sized photograph of the Royal Naval ship HMS Bulwark which is in an excellent condition.

CONDITION -- Excellent
HISTORY -- The sixth HMS Bulwark of the Royal Navy was a 22,000 tonne Centaur-class light fleet aircraft carrier. Initially commissioned as a light aircraft carrier in 1954, the ship was later converted into a commando carrier in 1958 and recommissioned as such in 1960. Bulwark remained in this capacity until 1969. Then, in 1979, following failed efforts to sell the ship, Bulwark re-entered service as an anti-submarine warfare carrier and remained as such until being decommissioned in 1981. The ship was scrapped in 1984.

DESCRIPTION -- Postcard of the Royal Naval ship HMS Tyne which is in an excellent condition.

CONDITION -- Excellent
HISTORY -- HMS Tyne is the sixth Royal Navy ship to carry the name Tyne. She is a River-class offshore patrol vessel built by Vosper Thornycroft in Southampton to serve as a fishery protection unit within the United Kingdom's waters along with her two sister ships Mersey and Severn. All three were commissioned into service in 2003 to replace the five older Island-class patrol vessels.

DESCRIPTION -- Interesting item connected with the ship HMS Worcester 1860-1948 which is an actual piece of ships timber, and it is combined together with a decanter stopper and port chain taken from on board, just before the last days of this well known ship. This is an unusual piece and the size is approx. 5" x 3" (13cm x 8cm).

DESCRIPTION -- These 2 items from the vessel 'HMS LONDON' are from her petty officer H. Holmes. They are as follows:
1) A very nice solid silver presentation badge. It reads on the back as follows: "1961 Holmes HG PO".
2) A silver-plated ashtray. It reads on: "HMS LONDON. The gift of the corporation of London 1963.

CONDITION -- Very Good
HISTORY -- HMS London was commissioned at Swan Hunter's yard in Wallsend in 1963 under Captain J.C. Bartosik and initially was fully employed setting her armament to work, successfully firing her Seaslug for the first time off Aberporth in April 1964. After working up, during which she entertained HRH The Duke of Edinburgh on board, she crossed the Atlantic in September 1964. She visited Bermuda and Houston before joining a special squadron led by Vice Admiral Sir Fitzroy Talbot on a round of visits to the South American part of his command.
